What's your ratio?

What's is your find count to forum post ratio.?

I have 12,386 finds and 2,490 posts for a ratio of 4.97:1

Of course, that # of posts does not include posts made in the Off Topic forum, so the numbers are skewed.

Me, and I do mean "me" who is the only part of Pup Patrol that posts on the forum:

Posts: 5044 (OT posts not counted)

Finds: 392 (which includes Events, which aren't caches)

.08

The inverse situation.

.0546

129 finds and 2,346 posts. Just logged a DNF today - if luck had been better and there had been less snow, I would have had one more FTF and roughly a 0.8% increase in total finds.

:yikes:

5167 finds / 2152 posts (including this one) = 2.401 smileys/post

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I expect Roman! will probably use some of this data as evidence that people spend too much time sitting at home on their computer rather than out caching, and will try to get rid of the forums along with puzzle caches.

...or something like that.

Who am I to judge?

I've found 212 GCs and have post 708 forum posts, including this one.

But it really doesn't matter. Most of my posts are in the Waymarking forums.

Now if you use some kind of ratio with Waymarking, I currently have 890 Waymarks posted, and 794 visits to other folks' waymarks.

890 Waymarks / 708 posts = ~1.26

794 Visits / 708 posts = ~1.12

1684 total visits / 708 posts = ~2.38
