Takeo7789
Hi, I sometimes cache with someone else who showed me some TBs that I discovered a few weeks ago. He then moved them to caches when I wasn't with him. However I found some of those caches today with the TBs still in them. In this case would I discover them again? What do people generally do? I know logging caches more than once is frowned upon unless you're supposed to, but is that the same for TBs? Quote Link to comment
cerberus1
Once you find a couple hundred trackables (coins especially) I probably wouldn't remember whether I found it before and would log it. If I remember trackables from only a few weeks ago and saw them again, I wouldn't log 'em, but that's just me. - Nothing says you can't. Quote Link to comment
Bear and Ragged
I wouldn't Re-discover them, but if I could move them on to another cache I probably would Retrieve, and then Drop them, to help them travel. Edited February 13, 2015 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
kunarion
is that the same for TBs? It's a great idea to log them again. The TB Owner may be wondering if the TB is still there, and you've verified it. Quote Link to comment
fuzziebear3
Discovering or moving the same trackable again does not add it to the count of trackables moved, but does help keep them moving and keep the owner informed. So feel free to discover anything you find, no worries! I think it is pretty cool when one I have found before turns up again somewhere else. Quote Link to comment
dprovan
I think it's really cool when I meet a TB that I've met before, so I always log it again and talk about the other discovery and its relation to this one. (When I notice: it's not as if the system tells you you've discovered it before.) Quote Link to comment
