+Justin Of Terrytown
If I decided to disable my account, will I be able to activated it again in the future? If I decided to disable my account and I decide I want to try geocaching again, what will change on my account when I activated it? Will it still show the caches that I found? Quote Link to comment
+WarNinjas
I don't even know if there is a way to disable it or why you would want to. It wont save your year of premium membership so you would just stop caching for now and then when you are ready to start again it will all be here. At least that is how I understand it. +Isonzo Karst
Here's the Help Center article on this topic http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=102 1. will I be able to activated it again in the future? - Yes I believe so, local to me I've seen it happen. 2. If I decided to disable my account and I decide I want to try geocaching again, what will change on my account when I activated it? - I don't think anything will change on the account. Disabled, no emails will be sent, and enabled again, the account will behave as all active accounts do. 3. Will it still show the caches that I found? - yes, all the account history will remain Quote Link to comment
+oldsoldier
I took 2 years off (didnt disable it, but didnt cache at all), came back, and picked right back up where I left off. Your paid membership will not freeze though-that will continue, and, should you not reactivate it, it will expire when it is supposed to-provided you dont have automatic renewals.
