+debbiekgirouard
When you find a GEOCACH and it says there is a TB and it is no longer there What can you do about it. Can you remove from the inventory it seams crazy to leave it in invertory. And it is really sad someone would keep it. Sometimes I think it could be new Geocach and maybe really do not know what they have. But when you run accross a Geocach that says there is 4 or 5 and none What do you do? Quote Link to comment
+TX Stephens
I think only the CO can remove them? I'm not totally sure. We have only been doing this for a year, but in that time have learned not to seek a cache just because it says there are TB's inside. Most of the time (in my experience) there are none. On a side note, it is always fun to find TB's when not expecting them. I doubt that helps, but it is my two pennies! Quote Link to comment

Log a note on the cache page that you didn't see it. The TO, CO and Reviewers can remove trackables from the inventory. When I (as CO) do maintenance, I'll check. If missing, I'll email the TO. If it's not removed in a week or two, I'll do it myself. Not all COs want to get too involved in a side game of geocaching (I'm one) and some will simply disregard 'em. Quote Link to comment

+Bear and Ragged
Log it on the cache page AND the TBs page. (On the TB page, say WHICH cache it was not seen in*, on the cache page say WHICH TB was not seen) Both cache owner AND TB owner can mark items as missing. * This helps if a cacher finds it in a cache it is not listed as being in.
