Unarchiving

I've searched this forum but cannot find the answer. How do I unarchive one of my caches. The cache has been replaced as I decided to keep it afterall.

Thanks!

Look at the first log on your cache page. It will be from the reviewer that published it.

Send them an email explaining the situation. They can take it from there. If for some reason that reviewer is no longer active, then send an email to Support at Groundspeak.

Hopefully there is no new cache, or puzzle, or something that would prevent your cache from being re-published.

Instead of searching the forum, try looking in the Help Center:

3. Geocache Ownership: A Long-Term Relationship

3.18. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache by the owner is supposed to be a permanent status. That is why only the site administrators and volunteers have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances.

However, if you accidentally archived it, please contact the reviewer who originally published your geocache with the geocache name, GC Code and the explanation for unarchiving it. You'll find a link to the reviewer's profile at the bottom of your geocache page. You may also visit www.geocaching.com/help in cases where you are unable to reach the correct reviewer.

For any geocache to be unarchived, it must first meet the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

I don't think you can

It's a good idea to read discussions before joining in. Not only is unarchiving entirely possible, it has already happened for the OP.

Guess you didn't read the OP's follow-up post, which is the one immediately before yours....
