4wheelin_fool Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) Here my finds are less, as well as the favorites when compared to here. Any other differences? Edited November 17, 2014 by 4wheelin_fool Quote
+MartyBartfast Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 staging.geocaching.com is the "test site" which I think is pre-loaded with data and doesn't get automatically refreshed with live data. When I last looked I reckoned the data it had on me was almost a year old. Quote
+jellis Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I found that cache. That was fun and scary a little for me cause of my problem with heights. A cacher friend of mine by the name of Frisbeer took me there. The CO had just replaced the cache so I was on my own finding it. Quote
Mr.Yuck Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 staging.geocaching.com is the "test site" which I think is pre-loaded with data and doesn't get automatically refreshed with live data. When I last looked I reckoned the data it had on me was almost a year old. Yeah, I created a test server for a website once. I just did it by making a mirror of the site, and creating a new server. This was done via the control panel of a major ISP. OK, it was Rackspace. But once I made it, it just sat there with all the data up to January 3rd, 2014, or whenever it was I did it. I would have kept it around, but I got sick of paying for it. Quote
