+memojo1979
Hi everyone I have been 'caching for just over a year, after being introduced to it by my Dad. He also introduced my (then) 7yr old daughter to it, but she surprisingly lost interest very quickly. I've recently bought a cheap HTC Wildfire (not S) so that she can follow her own GPS, rather than having to borrow one of ours, to see if that would reignite her interest. I checked the list of smartphones that could be selected as the GPS being used (although when I've tried to double-check that list today, I can't find it on the geocaching.com website at all!)+ the HTC Wildfire (not S) was on there, but when I try to load the app, I just get a "You don't have any devices" message. Is there an issue with the phone? Could it be because I haven't bought a SIM card yet (I have a price plan + specific company in mind, but by using my WiFi, I was hoping to get it all set up before starting the contract - no point in paying the contract if there's then an issue with the phone) Does anyone know? Can anyone help plz? Ta! Quote Link to comment

+Walts Hunting
If you are talking about the list on the GS website they haven't updated that in at least a year (to many devices) and have been saying it would be removed at some point so maybe they did. Quote Link to comment
+memojo1979
Got the phone registered with a google play account? I think so, I was struggling to do anything with it to begin with (my WiFi was playing up), but Google Play all looked fine. Definitely got the Google account part signed in Quote Link to comment
