+sue.tennyson
I'm going to be visiting London next week and would love to drop off a travel bug or two. Can anyone recommend some caches that would be easily accessible via public transport, etc.? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Pharisee
I'm going to be visiting London next week and would love to drop off a travel bug or two. Can anyone recommend some caches that would be easily accessible via public transport, etc.? Thanks! There's a lot of caches in London but not so many that are big enough for travel bugs. One that is, however, is "CG13ZAG The Winchester Geese". The co-ordinates seem to be a little out on this one but the cache description will leave you in no doubt that you're in the right place. It's certainly big enough for a travel bug or geocoin or two. The nearest tube stations are 'London Bridge' or possibly 'Borough'. Enjoy your trip to London. EDIT.... The hint isn't exactly correct, either, but the first paragraph of the cache description tells you exactly what to look for! Edited October 13, 2014 by Pharisee Quote Link to comment
BOBBLES WORLD TOUR
There's a multi in Holland Park which is close to Notting Hill Gate. A fabulous green area and a few caches to boot. Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
There's http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4ZMV4_tower-bridge-tb-hotel near Tower Bridge, it's currently temp disabled but the disable log says it will be back on Wednesday. Quote Link to comment
+Pan314159
Also GC2M0AF The British Library. The only "Large" sized cache in Central London, plus it's a really fun and interesting cache to find. I'd really recomend it to visitors. It's a multi. If you've not found it before it takes about 45 minutes to work out where it is. I won't give it away, but I'll just say it's also a really safe place to leave trackables. Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
Just north of St Paul's Cathedral there's the trad Last Delivery (London) which has been around for a long while. A lot of trackables pass through it but there can be a lot of muggles around at lunchtimes so you might want to try and choose a quieter time to visit. MrsB Quote Link to comment
