+kaz56 Posted September 18, 2014 Share Posted September 18, 2014 For the 2nd time i have a refurbished etrex 30 from Garmin as it kept turning itself off Today i received the 2nd one and have uploaded a PQ that was waiting but when i go look for caches it say i am over 4,000 miles away in America, have i done something wrong. Can anyone advise please How long did you give it to find its new location? It can take up to a half hour after it has been moved a great distance. While you are waiting for it to discover the satellite formation it is best to have the unit in a location with a unobstructed view of as much sky as possible. Quote Link to comment
