+jallwork
Hi Guys I want to write a (C#) program to access your web site to extract some cache data (much like the SideTracked series does). It's fine - I can do that (I've done it and I promise I won't do it often!). BUT my program can only get data from non-premium member's caches. How do I send a URL request that includes my log-in details (or is it a two-stage process?) so I can access data from premium member caches? Regards John Quote Link to comment

Keystone
My understanding is that the API Partners program remains closed for new developers interested in using the API. So, you would need to get by with other permitted functionality, like pocket queries. Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team
According to this page on the SideTracked website, it sounds like they're using Pocket Queries and GSAK to generate the stats for the website. Another way might be to use the API functionality included within GSAK. Scraping data from the website would be a bad idea, though. That's against the Terms of Use. If you're already doing this, you should stop and come up with a different method. Edited August 20, 2014 by The A-Team Quote Link to comment
