two bison
Is there a problem with the e-mail from Groundspeak. Suddenly I'm not receiving notices of cache notes and finds. Usually when I disable a cache for maintenance issues the posting generates mail to me that I use as a reminder ... now, no message. Quote Link to comment
two bison
I just sent myself a message through geocaching/Groundspeak using an account for one of our grandsons. I didn't arrive in my inbox. ??? Subsequently, I sent a message to another user and left the box checked that would send a copy to me. I didn't receive the copy. +Gitchee-Gummee
I just sent email to another cacher and immediately got the normal copy-sent arriving in my mailbox. Have you checked your junk mail or spam mail folder? Quote Link to comment
two bison
I just sent email to another cacher and immediately got the normal copy-sent arriving in my mailbox. Have you checked your junk mail or spam mail folder? Yes, nothing there. I had just received a notice of a find and then when I ran a pocket query it ran but I received no notice that it had run successfully. I then did a little testing, see above, and nothing came to my inbox. Quote Link to comment
two bison
A few of my tests have started to trickle in. I'd sure like to know if the problem was at the geocaching end or at my end of things. I'll do a little more testing but I'll wait until this afternoon to do it to let things settle down. Thanks to G-G for the reply. Quote Link to comment
two bison
Thought I'd mention that they are dribbling in ... seems to be about at least a 40 minute delay between when Groundspeak time-stamped them as sent and when Google time-stamped them as received. Sounds to me like a problem at the Groundspeak end of things. Quote Link to comment
