Archived caches

Is there a way of finding an archived cache if all I know is the name of the cache? Trying to find one that I know the name of but not the GC code or the cache owner.

Only with the GC Code, by owner or by finders.

Thanks for replying so promptly. That's what I suspected. Is there any way to search a finder's profile for a specific cache then or would you have to trawl through all of their finds to track it down?

You could download caches found by the person as a pocket querey and upload them to GSAK, then you could search the names.

Or just go onto the profile page and click on "geocaches" and you will see a list of all geocaches the user have found, the ones with a strike over the text and red text are archived ones. Hope this helped.

Click on Last Found date, and the older ones are listed first.

(You may need to click twice...)

Project GC has a way to find all the archived caches in a given area but you need the premium membershipt there to make the custom filter.
