I have such a terrible memory I can't remember how to change locations on my Oregon Garmin. I travel in the winter so I used to do it for wherever I was. Also, on the geocaching .com site, I bring up maps of my local area. When I click on a cache for more details, nothing happens. Has something changed that I'm not aware of? I feel like I need a lesson again before I go south. We leave August 22nd for points south and I have to get this figured out before I go Quote Link to comment
+Great Scott! Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) If you last used it hundreds of miles away from your current location, it might take a little longer to receive a signal. Set it outside with a view of open sky for 20 -30 minutes. It should get a signal. Then hook it up to your computer and Garmin Express to see if needs any firmware updates.
