500 - Server Error

Recommended Posts

Is it just me, or is anyone else getting an error when they try and log a visit?? I first noticed this on Thursday 7/17, but figured it would get cleared up in a day or two. On Monday (7/21) I tried again on the same waymark and got the same error. I clicked on the "If you feel that the page you are looking for should be available, please let us know", link and submit a ticket (492365). Today I tried to log a visit to a new waymark that was just approved and got the same error.

I have plenty of issues between my computer and the Waymarking site, but none logging a visit. Everything works fine for that function. Sorry!

Working for me - just logged a wm at lunch.

Wonder why it is just me? Maybe I'll try from a different PC, but why would that make a difference.

It's probably more important to try it from a different network. Did you try from two different locations, like home and work, or home and mobile? Wonder if your IP is blacklisted for some reason, but if so I would expect you couldn't get to the site at all.

I can add and approve waymarks, so why can't I log a visit?? Just have to wait for them to get back to me on this. (I'm retired and work from home how). I guess I could try re-starting my home network.

Well, I restarted my home network and went for a walk while it was doing its thing. I have now been able to log all of the waymarks I was trying to log, so whatever the problem was, it has been fixed.
