Wayfinder
I'm joining the list of those trying for the "Where's in a name?" cache: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?pf=&ID=12627&decrypt=y&log= This requires finding someone near a LAT or LONG line (I've chosen W LONG) and having them take a picture of something interesting near that spot. If you send over a picture, we can both log the cache. Anyone near this line through MN, WI, IA, MO, AR, and LA, who would like to participate, please e-mail me so we can arrange it. Thanks! --Wayfinder Quote Link to comment
+jhwf44
How close does it have to be to 92W? jhwf4 Quote Link to comment
Wayfinder
There is some leeway in that the last digit can be any number (so I'll put an 'X'): W092° 47.46X; and you can use any Latitude you like, but it does need to intersect with that Longitude. You would need to take a photo of something "interesting" at the coordinates you choose (as in not an open field, but maybe something representative of the area). I understand someone may have to travel a bit, but hopefully not too far. I think it would be worth it for something different, and, of course, to log a "locationless cache." --Wayfinder Quote Link to comment
Wayfinder
Geocacher "Pear Head" has volunteered to take the pics for me. Thanks! --Wayfinder Quote Link to comment
