+Les Chnous
How can I use a "caches along a route" type of feature to download a series of caches along a bike trail? I already know that I can set the map feature so to see the bike trails, but how can I download quickly and easily the caches along one of those bike trails? Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Why not do a pq of the area and once you start the trail do the first cache and hit find closest you in all likelihood stay along that trail. Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
The "Find Caches along a Route" PQ feature only works for roads. It won't go on bike trails themselves. But if the roads are close enough to the bike trail, it should cover the same area, so I'd try that, if possible: drag your route to roads as close to the bike trails as you can, then proceed from there. +Touchstone
Quickly and easily? Probably not, but here's a link for reference: Caches Along a Route What Walt said is pretty much what I do when I'm on foot or bike. If you want to plan out your day more than that, then the Routing feature is good, but spontaneous it is not. Quote Link to comment
+Trucker Lee
As suggested already, on the map bend the line to follow the roads nearest the bike trail and then just broaden the search area width to cover all the area you wish. Quote Link to comment
