Unable to load caches

It is a browser problem about 99.9% of the time. It has to do with compatibility issues.

Now -- you mention IE and Google, then turn around and mention Mac. Just what computer are you using?

If PC and you wanna stay with IE, locate Tools in your browser menu bar. Therein, you should find Compatibility Mode. There, you should be able to select geocaching.com and add it to the Compatibility Mode.

I am told that Google Chrome simply doesn't cut it anymore -- I dunno for sure. I (we) have used Mozilla Firefox for years now and never had a problem.

Just do a forums search for "Compatibility" and see what comes up!

The problem may be related to the fact that since groundspeaks last update on 13th of May the geocaching.com map is only accessible via a secure HTTPS connection.

If you open http:/www.geocaching.com/map the URL automatiically changes to https:/www.geocaching.com/map

It seems as though Groundspeak didn't register the https://-URL for the plugin.

I am unable to load caches either, (from my desktop PC). I get a message saying I have to agree to Terms and Conditions and click Submit. I click the box, click Submit, nothing happens.

I had the original problem using Firefox. Went and tried IE, then Google Chrome (no error, but I couldn't load there either). Went back and tried Firefox again and it worked.

I can't load geocaches wither. I keep getting the message that the Garmin Plugin Communicator is not installed, which is not right. Garmin shows that my software on my Colorado 400t is up to date.

If you are using Internet Explorer, try toggling Compatibility Mode or try another browser.
