I know the Waymarking forums been through some conversions and changes.

I’m looking at the new Waymarking Subforum for Waymarking Archives. To me it looks like there is no forum posts from 2010 through 2011.

Has all this been lost?

Yes unfortunately the server that had the Groundspeak portal, which was used for the forum during that time, has been taken off line several months ago.
