Thinking of creating a cache in Royal Oak, MI...

...and I was wondering... has anyone else tried contacting Royal Oak's Parks and Rec. Department yet about caches in their parks? If so, what's the responce?

 

I've noticed a lack of caches in that general area, and am hoping to place one this spring.

I've never tried, but you could try posting on the MiGO forums and see. Some people there don't read these boards (and Vise versa I guess)

And the word is that the 2 parks I was looking at (the only ones you'd actually have a decent chance of hiding a regular cache) are nature preserves, with fragile plants. Oh, well. Maybe I'll find some interesting info/signage inside them this spring and place a virtual in them.
