Received my Road Trip Mission today from Strombus. Great end to a long week !!

 

Included several really neat postcards, an awesome personal coin (first of it's kind) from Hungary and a matching pathtag.

The coin is #7 of 40 ... fits right in with several other #7's of personal coins in my partner's collection.

 

Also included a traveler which I will find a new USA location to start it's worldly journeys enroute back to Pecs, Hungary.

Well, crumb, I need a keeper. That ending date has been said and re-said and I was determined to see it as send by July 12. So that is what I kept seeing.

 

Mine is not going to arrive to destination by July 12th. I apologize now. :(

Its good to hear from you Claire!! Im slacking I will get my mission going ASAP lol I swear.

I lied and for that I am ashamed :signalviolin: But good news is I received my package yesterday! I will post a pic in the morning light:) Other good news is I got my package sent out today FINALLY jeeze what a slacker :sunsure: Bad news is I didn't quite send the mission I wanted I hpe they enjoy it I racked my brain FOREVER and ever seeing how I live in Vacation central I believe it made it harder lol SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM!!! Grrrrr anyhow I will get my pic and caches up in the morn sorry I have been absent but whats new :cool: I am loving all of the pics and everything on thi thread what fun!

Name received:5/11/14 ( Great We are already lost! Someone pull over and ask for directions already!)

Mission sent:6/26/14 ( Ran out of gas, 3 flat tires ,lost a kid, shoe, and luggage)

Mission received:6/25/14 (found kid (I think?) , fixed tires, got gas... still having an amazing trip!!)

See post #64 for my road trip caches.

For geocaching I live in a bit of a boring area, just a lot of flat land and some small forests. Scenery wise there is not much to see, but the quality of the caches is pretty high.

 

Added to the summary.

 

Wish I could get to see ALL the wonderful caches posted here !! :)

Yesterday I received my mission!

The envelope contained a South Carolina Geocoin that I will drop into a cache nearby to travel, several must-do Earthcaches in Idaho (unfortunately no airplane ticket was included :D ), an Idaho potato pin and an All Seeing Eye Geocoin for me to keep. The two Idaho postcards I received earlier.

Thanks Toojin for the coin and the roadtrip!

(sorry about the poor quality of the picture, my phone doesn't work that well in the dusk)

And Yay Ogima for starting the South Carolina coin on its journeys already.

 

I was just on a road trip, but with one adventure and another didn't get to a single cache. I am afraid to look at all the cool caches that were along my route. So Ogima's traveler hasn't started traveling yet.

I'm awfully sorry to be such a late participant.

 

Got the special coin from my mission partners wishlist, which I'm quite proud of... :anicute:

Got some nice cards of my homearea, which meant me going into a tourist shop. Did you ever got to a touristic spot in your HOME area? I never did this before... :blink:

But I also got something to try my missionpartners patience, something for those long cold winter evenings, which are here before you even know... :laughing:

 

Now everything is wrapped up nicely, an activated traveller is also inside the parcel and my daughter promised to bring it to the post office tomorrow, as I have to work.

 

So sorry for not replying earlier, sometimes not a road trip, but life get's in the way.

Just came home from a 2 week summer road trip with my family from Bartlesville, OK to Sequoia National Forest, Yosemite, and San Francisco. 4400 miles in the minivan! Had a great trip, only made better by finding a padded envelope from Chausson. Received a beautiful "Edeltraud" the Sheep Geocaching Animals geocoin. Hadn't seen this series of coins before. Really neat. Thanks for the lovely coin. My mission is now complete on both ends. Thanks nevadanick for the mission.
