+Geeky Wanderers
Hi, We found a wooden Geocoin this week in a local cache. It says Slovak Wood Geocoin 2013 on it, but doesn't appear to have a tracking number. Do we just keep it or are you meant to move it along/log it? Quote Link to comment
+oiseau_ca
It's a personal sig items manufactured in the Czech Republic, popular in Europe. You can encounter Czech, Slovak, Deutch, Belgian even Quebec!!! Wood Geocoins and so on. You can keep it as a souvenir. Usually, the geocacher's nick is on the front side. Quote Link to comment
+nevadanick
Even more are appearing here in the USA ... there is at least one major producer of wooden coins in Wisconsin. They do have some that are trackable, but as the rule goes ... trackable ONLY if they have a Groundspeak tracking code visible on the coin AND it states something like: "Track at Geocaching.com" somewhere on the coin. That said, you can do whatever you choose with a signature item ... ... Always good to ask when you are unsure though ... !!! Quote Link to comment
+Jacama
I recently picked up a wooden nickle coin similar to this one but it's not Slovak. It too doesn't have a tracking number on it but instead says "Cacheikers" is that considered a signature as well? Also do I treat it like regular swag and just pass it on? Quote Link to comment
