central ohio geocachers

hi guys, i am interested in meeting up with some fellow geocachers and thought maybe a picnic this summer would be good. anyone else interested?

I am in NE Ohio-but might be interested in a picnic get together depending on when it is planned since August is out for me. Columbus is only 2.5-3 hours drive south so possibly other NE Ohio people might be interested.

From Cleveland it's not bad to get to Columbus and would probably draw my interest. Chillicothe gets a little far so think somewhere north of I-70.

All accross our wonderful buckeye state I see hear and read about fellow cachers wanting to get together! I know its not feasable for all to come up to Cleveland area in July for the Cleveland Metroparks cache hunt, but it would be real cool if alot of people showed up to support this event! Not only to support the event but to support and foster good relations amoungst us like minded geocacherz! The Cleveland Metroparks summer social will be on Sunday, July 21. The clue-caches will be out Friday - Sunday. They won't be too tough - do-able in a day.

 

If people want to help brainstorm - I could really use it! Let me know and we'll have a meeting.

I also am waiting for my GPS so I can get out there and hunt. (Today maybe! I cross my fingers and hope!)

 

A get together sounds great to me. If we have the day off my wife and I would love to join you.

Caching name, Adults, Kids, Traveling From, and Ages of oldest and youngest you are vouching for.

I was just thinking that this would be an excellent idea. It would be really cool (and very geeky) if we could all bring an item and hide a cache wherever we meet to signify this meeting.
