Activated wrong geocoin

Hi guys,

by accident (wrong tracking nr.) I have managed to activate un thus am now owner of a geocoin I do not actually own. Is there any way I can reverse this action - say de-activate the geocoin? I read somewhere here, that there is possible process of adoption, i.e. I can transfer the GC to it's rightful owner, but I do not know that owner (until he/she contacts me, most likely). Any suggestions how to solve this apart from waiting the right owner to contact me?

Many thanks,

martinsoz

I've had te same issue in the past, once, never again! I send an e-mail to one of the 'geo-chiefs' here, and they fixed it. They can de-activate the coin. Could as well be a coin that's not been sold yet, somewhere in a shop or in someone's unactivated collection. Adoption isn't a possibility if it's hidden away somewhere.

I would email Eartha - go to her profile, send her an email.
