+SpongeRob
I've looked back through some of the forum however I do not find anything about a Geocaching association in Illinois. Is there anything in Northern Illinois? Dekalb, Elgin, Or even schaumburg? Quote Link to comment
+ScottJ
If there ever is a Northern Illinois Geocaching Association, I would strongly suggest a name change. The acronym would have an unpleasant pronunciation! -- Scott Johnson (ScottJ) Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
There's a Chicago one. We're even listed on the abbreviated state page. Just follow the link in my signature. Elgin is pretty far to the west, but I think most of our stuff includes caches out that far. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Quote Link to comment
HeyBooBoo
NIGA. very good point. I'm a northern illinois cacher and unfortunately we don't have any club/organization but if we do, consideration of Northern Illinois Geocachers Association should be thought through before implementing. I'm not against it, just saying it may raise a few eyebrows, even up here in the very caucasian north. Quote Link to comment
+Team Rijon
There is the Geocachers of Northeastern Illinois (GONIL), I believe they cover your area. GONIL Quote Link to comment
