Search for caches by the routes name, which doesnt always work because nearby caches may not have the roads name as their own. 3. Ask locals along that route, not that you can insure they will respond, or even know/or been to the "highway caches" 4. Become a charter member and see if you can force a pocket to tell you what you want to know uh, umm... load all the cache in a state on your GPS and just use the 'nearest waypoint' feature??, of course there are problems with that like memory for one...
