I'm in your neck of the woods, kind of.

I have a cabin in Hazelhurst.

I also have friends on Mertel Lake in Conover.

I spend as much time as possible there.

Family has a cabin on Horsehead Lake so have been familiar will the are for 30 years now. There are some small lakes off of snowmobile and ski trails that would make good cache destinations in the summer. Maybe I'll have a fisherman's cache, or a raspberry cache by Bird lake up the road on 51. With the black bears in the area, I think I'll skip the kitchen containers in favor of the ammo cases for these!
