Well, I received a mysterious thick envelope yesterday from Strombus in Hungary. Part of me wondered if this could be my Easter Mission. I wrestled with the notion of not opening the envelope until April 20. But what if Strombus was some desperate Hungarian that NEEDED my help to get his fortune into a US bank. He might have say $30,000,000 and be trying to get it to the US. I would of course be rewarded with a 20% fee for assisting. I had no idea. The envelope didn't explicitly say Easter Mission. So I felt compelled to open it, just in case. Well to my surprise, that lumpiness was indeed a geocoin. What a wonderful coin too. A rare Hungarian event coin that depicts a famous town square church in Debrecen, Hungary. Thanks Strombus! It will definitely find a place in my collection of treasures.

Bartians, the envelope was thick because I already included your 20%. Didn't you find it? :-) I am happy you like my coin.

I received an envelop from Intrepid Dyad last Thursday, but so far I could resist the temptation of opening it. It is hard. Getting harder every day. But, it is nice to look at the envelop and think of its secret inside.

Thanks for hosting another mission, Claire!

What a coincidence: traded a couple of coins with this guy back in 2007 or 2008...

We were planning to wait until the middle of April before sending our card, but since the Post Canada is once AGAIN raising its fees as of April 1st (no this isn't the April Fool's Day joke!), we're sending it today.

When Lady Pinguin and I arrived home yesterday after a weekend caching with an inflatable boat and climbing gear, there was an US mailed envelope in the mailbox. Of course I have no willpower whatsoever so I opened the envelope right away.

Thanks Noah from the Bartians for the Easter card and an VERY nice and shiny Geoswag C&P Club May 2013 Anubis Geocoin!

My mission went in the post today. It doesn't have to far to go so it should get there in a few days!

I forgot to mention - we will be on vacation most of April, so whoever is sending mine, please don't worry if I don't receive it until we get back.

So glad to see my newest friends in the Netherlands, Ogima, and Canada, oiseau_ca, received their coins in a timely fashion.

Surpisingly, 10 days travel time from US to Netherlands and 11 days to Canada. Go figure.

Not surprisingly, both recipients had no willpower to wait until Easter.rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gif

A happy mail day for me! A beautiful card and an older personal coin, done by imchasingshadows in 2007, that I've never seen before, called Fair Winds. "Older" and "personal coins" being my favorite kinds!! Add trees and dogs and suffice it to say that I LOVE this coin. Thank you so much.

Well, yesterday I received a beautiful card from Turlutortue in Canada. I waited approximately 30s before reaching for the nearest pair of scissors and getting into it. I was much surprised by 2 older personal coins, HorseGeeks and Beamer, and 2 nifty path tags! The HorseGeeks coin has 2 great looking sides. Both could be the front. I searched the Beamer coin to find out it was a replica of a coiner's favorite Beamer snowboard. Love them both. Thanks so much Turlutortue!!

A Huge Thank You to ElliPirelli, my dear you went far, far, to far with your generosity  But it is most wonderful to open a package this big. And you did well in choosing the coins for me, I have a few of the Atlantic Cacher coins that I've been able to trade for (next time Chuck does a project I'm in) and a coin from your region which is cut like it should be a piece in a puzzle. And finally an Easter Chick geocoin with tons of chocolates, I do have a bit of a sweet tooth.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Wishing you the very Best Easter :)

Since he was a very good boy and Wyatt was busy somewhere else we took our time and put our ears on  He found a very cute card and a great geocoin I never saw before, an Omni Animalia. It should be helpful to create a new puzzle cache ;)
