The above is a link to a new virtual geocache in ND that was rejected (by someone in Florida).

I read the guidlines, and it says I should post a message on the forume to make a case for un rejecting it.

The target of the virtual geocache is a pickup parked in a very unique position, its been there for 50+ years. Its hard to find because of its location, and its unique because it shouldnt be there.

I stated that if you have problems finding it use topomap, I stated this because it is by a hydroelectric powerstation and has lots of overhead powerlines. I was told that it was too easy to find because all you need is topomap to find it. Thats true for all geocaches. Its not that easy, you wouldnt normally look at this location if you were looking for a pickup.

There is a parking lot and public road 20 feet from it. It is just visible from a wingwall, and people fish from that location all the time. The dangerous areas are surrounded by a security fence, and is safe.

Am I missing something, or should this be in a different forum? My money's on either General or Great Plains.

Also, we can't see your cache page because it hasn't been approved. You'll need to cut and paste the text and coords of the page into your forum post or we won't be able to tell you much.

I would say that your cache is not very interesting or unusual. I just wish I could see your page and then I might be able to tell you what is wrong,

A pickup truck is not something I would drive to see except if it was a cache. And that seems to be the problem from what little information I can get from this posting.

It has been really hard to get a virtual cache approved for close to a year now. And I think it will get harder before it get easier.

Good Luck.

Just to make sure you know - I was just commenting on the GC policy towards virtual cache approvals, not that your idea was "lame".
