Please help me.... I am desperate!!! I cannot download to my explorist 110 since upgrading my laptop and operating system to windows 8. I have 'bitdefender' virus protection on my laptop. I have tried upgrading my GPS program and downloading the suggested program so many times I lost count. I have emailed Magellan for support over 2 weeks ago and have had no response

:( do any of you wonderful people have any suggestions as to what I can do? do I need to buy a new GPS?? I just want to get out and about caching asap.... thanks, Family4P

It's not your eXplorist, Win8 or your virus protection... It is your browser.

Your upgrade most likely included Internet Explorer, you need to change the "Compatibility Mode".

 

You have two choices. Either change that Compatibility Mode following the directions in this link

 

-or-

 

Switch browser to either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
