+family4P Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Please help me.... I am desperate!!! I cannot download to my explorist 110 since upgrading my laptop and operating system to windows 8. I have 'bitdefender' virus protection on my laptop. I have tried upgrading my GPS program and downloading the suggested program so many times I lost count. I have emailed Magellan for support over 2 weeks ago and have had no response do any of you wonderful people have any suggestions as to what I can do? do I need to buy a new GPS?? Your upgrade most likely included Internet Explorer, you need to change the "Compatibility Mode". You have two choices. Either change that Compatibility Mode following the directions in this link -or- Switch browser to either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. +bpcooper14 Posted February 12, 2014 Share Posted February 12, 2014 I have windows 8.1 on my home computer and switched to using firefox to download caches individually from GC. I didn't mess with it too much though since I just drag and drop the pq into the folder when attached to the computer. Quote Link to comment
