+hmarq
I'm going to be in the area tomorrow evening through Monday monring (8/7 - 8/11) and will have a few hours here and there to do a little caching ... I've loaded up the PQ for 100 of them centered in Bloomington and will hit the close ones to the hotel, but wonder if there are any favorites folks would like to though out ... it would be best if they balance kid friendly with scenery ... but favorites of all kinds apreciated!! TIA! Quote Link to comment

+Woodbutcher68
You're going to miss JJ's Goby Bash?!? There's a cache in that park. Maps?!? I don't need no stinking maps! I got coordinates! There's a fine line between Geocaching and mental illness, I just not sure which side of the line I'm on! Quote Link to comment
+hmarq
Yes, sadly I'll have to miss the Goby bash ... though without rehashing all the pros and cons I'm hesitant to bring the kids to a "let's just kill stuff" event even though they are pests ... especially when despite Jim's discussion with the DNR about saving all the gamefish fry even if we caught 1000 gobys per person it won't matter to a fishery the size of Lake Michigan ... so I'm off to work (and play a little) in MN for a few days ... give my best to the goby hunters .... And for all of you scratching your heads wondering what this has to do with geocaching ... Woodbutcher and I are also like to fish and belong to a few local sportsmans boards ... I posted on one about geocaching and Woodbutcher got hooked too And for those that want to know about the goby bash, here's a link ... Goby Bash Quote Link to comment
