+what is a geo
How do I filter the caches I see on the Etrex 20 map? I seem to be able to filter what shows on the list of caches, but when i go to the map view, it shows all of them. How do i set it up to only show (for example) large caches on the map? I'm still new to this, despite the starting date of my membership. Thankyou! Quote Link to comment
+redwoodkestrel
I don't believe you can filter by any cache attributes (D/T, size, type, etc.) once they're in your eTrex. If you really only want large caches to show up in your GPSr, then you could run your pocket queries for only large caches. Quote Link to comment
+GeoTrekker26
Goto Geocaches. When the list of caches appears, press the Menu button (lower left side). Select Apply Filter then Quick Filter and select the items you want. Quote Link to comment

+JohnCNA
Goto Geocaches. When the list of caches appears, press the Menu button (lower left side). Select Apply Filter then Quick Filter and select the items you want. But that doesn't change anything on the map display, it only affects the list display. As soon as you go to the map display, it reverts to all caches. Quote Link to comment

I never filter anything on the GPS so I hadn't tried going back to the map after testing the filter. Thanks for the heads up! Quote Link to comment
