uncle_paul
Hi all, My brother and I have recently started caching and just love it. I found my first trackable geocoin a couple of weeks ago in Brisbane, Australia. It's come here from eastern europe on its way to Rio. I'd like to ensure this coin gets on a plane, so I'd like to put it somewhere that a cache tourist would find it. If you were an international tourist in Brisbane what cache/caches would you go searching for? I found it in a hidden cache at the end of a series. I think something like this seems ideal as only people that have put in the time and effort will find it, rather that just a single cache that someone who might not care as much may find it and keep it... I was thinking about this one as it's across the road from the international airport. not the end of a series as I'd like, but close to the terminals. Do you think it would suffice, or are there better ones that jump out at you? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+RedjackRyan
Good thinking; that cache looks like a good candidate for trackables wanting to travel to other countries. Whenever I travel I tend to look for trackables near airports to help move them along. Generally it's a good idea to avoid placing TB's and geocoins in puzzle caches or multi-caches that rarely get visited, unless the trackable's goal specifies such. Quote Link to comment
Flying Spaghetti Monster
On behalf of geocoin owners everywhere let me say "thank you" for caring enough to ask questions and to ensure a safe placement for the coin you've found. Quote Link to comment
uncle_paul
Thanks for replying. It's come so far, be a shame if it got stuck on the wrong side of the world. hopefully we can get it to rio in time for the world cup! Quote Link to comment
