+The_Wright_Family
I was just wondering who many people go caching at night? That's the only time that my friends and I get to go. I think it's more interesting. If you haven't tried it yet you need to. Good Luck Beavers are a Proud and Noble Animal. Big Mike Quote Link to comment
+Smitherington
I have done a little night caching but only do it when necessary. What I mean by necessary is doing a cache where I won't be back in the area soon and if I am going to do it it has to be now. Drawbacks: Sharp stick in the eye or a branch from the tree. Seeing the terrain sufficiently to make sure you don't fall or get hurt. Explanations of what you are doing out in the park at night. Quote Link to comment
+Farmerted
I do enjoy night caching I do it when I can you have to be a little more selective on the ones you hunt but it adds a whole new element and sometimes makes a 1/1 cache like a 3/1 there have been several caches I hunted more then once at night and come up empty and then finally I went during the day within 5 minutes I found them Quote Link to comment

+trippy1976
I love night caching. When winter sets in, that's about the only time I get to go too if it's not a weekend. But night caching rocks. Much more challenging and exciting. It can turn the lamest cache into a fun trip. -------- trippy1976 - Team KKF2A Assimilating golf balls - one geocache at a time. +shegget
i agree... night caching is alot of fun. my first cache was a night cache, and it's great to do when you're up at 11pm (or just got in) and want to head out and do something that doesn't include drinking at bars or sitting on your butt in a movie theater Quote Link to comment
Fakk 2
I only night cached 1ce and it was at an event. down side. Not seeing the spider web. :-/ Yuck. I have enough trouble during the day not running into them. I bought a GPS. Now I get lost with style. Quote Link to comment
+The_Wright_Family
yeah my first time was at night. I just found out from my cousin all about it. So poorboy and I set off about midnight. No GPS, only working with clues. It was fun we found two that night. but after that we hit one more and had trouble so I broke down and bought a GPS and never looked back. Beavers are a Proud and Noble Animal. +The_Wright_Family
This weekend myself and a bunch of friend got a cache in Fairmount, IN. To get the James Dean cache in the Fairmount cemetary. It was at night and it very open with a main road in front of it. So we went covert sneaking around. We found it but the coordinates were off about 70 feet. But was a blast. Beavers are a Proud and Noble Animal. Big Mike Quote Link to comment

Sparticus
I'm a UK Cacher and we have two famous night cachers called Dan and Pid. They are from southern England and have been featured on a UK TV program. I'm from up north so personally haven't met them, but from what I hear they are pretty good guys. They seem to do all there caching at night. I think this is because of work commitments. As far as I know they are both Centurians and seem to be going strong. Onwards and upwards. Never retreat, never surrender. Quote Link to comment
