+Akess08
I just got a Dakota 30. I want to send multiple geocaches to the GPS at one time. Is this possible? Quote Link to comment
+Chief301
Yes it is! Since you are a Premium member, you can generate Pocket Queries....read about it here: http://www.geocaching.com/about/premium.aspx You can run a PQ and get all the caches in a whole area (up to 1,000 at a time), delivered in a special type of file called a GPX file. Then you just plug in your Dakota and drag the GPX file over to the device. Quick and easy. You will also have all the full cache descriptions, hints, additional waypoints, and the 5 most recent logs for every cache right there on your GPS. Take some time to master Pocket Queries, you'll love it! Probably the #1 benefit of Premium membership....I don't know how anyone does any serious caching without them. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Pocket Query -- load anywhere from 1 to 1,000 caches in a single shot. At this link: http://www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk/ , hover cursor over Paperless Caching in the red banner, click the last option in the drop-down menu and follow the Garmin instructions there. It provides step-by-step directions to run a Pocket Query and load it to your Garmin. Quote Link to comment
