"Adopting" a Waymark

BruceS - Thanks for your reply.

Any suggestions on what to do?

There was a waymark for a historical marker. The marker was "removed" by persons unknown. (It had been knocked off and then "vanished") The W/O archived it, but at my request he unarchived it. I am in the process of trying to get the marker replaced. He asked if I wanted to "have" said marker.

I guess the only way to do it would be for me to resubmitt the marker, after he has re-archived it(?).

Once the marker is replaced he can archive his and you can resubmit the marker.
