CacheAcrossAmerica needs caches to link Illinois to Ohio or Michigan

CacheAcrossAmerica is trying to link caches within 100 miles of each other in a chain from coast to coast. I've started a chain in NE Ohio and extended it West to SE Michigan (South of Detroit) and east to Buffalo, NY. I need some Indiana and Michigan and Ohio folks to help out by linking this chain to the chain some folks in Illinois have formed.

joethielen has connected his Toledo, Ohio caches to the west end of the Ohio,Michigan,NY CacheAcrossAmerica chain. Any chance anyone from North East Indiana, Western Toledo areas could connect a cache or several caches (any caches you have hidden or visited personally) to Wasteland:

joethielen may be connecting a couple more of his other geocaches to Wasteland when he has a chance so he may move the chain west of Toledo this weekend which would make it easier for the NE Indiana people to connect to.

Good work everyone. I see that the Wisconsin- Illinois-Indiana CacheAcrossAmerica chain extending eastward (currently east end chain is at Indianas First)is now within 110 miles of the NY,Michigan, Ohio chain extending westward (currently west end of chain is at Torndado Alley). Good work everyone-now we just need the folks in NY to get moving and extend their end of the chain east to connect with the chain crossing Mass. man i am putting out some caches this summer... they are in the works now... can you have overlap? I mean I am in ohio... Cleveland area.. so it sounds like this area is covered ay?

Yes Ohio is well covered with regard to the CacheAcrossAmerica project-but I appreciate your interest. The IN-IL Chain has almost connected with the OH-NY chain thanks to the hardwork of Markwell and others. Hopefuly the NY Geocachers will get going on the other end and extend the northern chain south and east toward one of the Atlantic chains covering NJ or Mass that were recently started. Some Geocachers in Iowa and Nebraska are busy working on a segment to connect with the eastbound CA-NV-UT chain the the westbound IN-IL chain.

 

Looking forward to the Geocaches you mentioned you will be placing in this area in the future!

so someone from that north-central indiana cache needs to come down to fort wayne and grab one of ours here. that would fill that gap between the red and orange chains.
