How do I get notified about new caches in my area?

I am wondering how people find new caches the day they are created and get FTF.

Is there a way on the site to setup notification?

I am attempting to do this now, and the "Publish Listing" option is not available for me in the "Type To Watch" drop down box of the Notifications section. Is there something I'm missing?

Yup. You are missing two things. First the link on how to create notifications.

 

Second- if you looked at the drop down box it give you cache types to watch. Click a cache type then you will have all available notifications appear to be checked or not.

 

Notifications can be different for different caches. You can't attend a traditional cache, so by choosing the cache first it eliminates the possibility of creating a notification for something that doesn't exist.
