Guest tecmage Posted May 10, 2001 Share Posted May 10, 2001 Hey all, We mailed three of park rangers in our area about placing caches in the local state parks. One got back to us last night, and we went out for a visit this afternoon. He was excited about the idea, so we took the cache with us, and showed him what we had in mind. We showed him our Etrex Legend, and he said he had an older Garmin unit that he'd been given for work. The ranger guided us through the park, pointed out some places we might want to place caches, and generally was interested in the idea. He was so helpful that we decided to name this cache (our first) after him. Look for Olofson's Cache to be posted sometime this weekend. Richard and Tracy Quote Link to comment
