Trouble with Google Maps in the emulator

Hi,

 

I've been testing out a cartridge in the emulator and been getting the attached error message today. This worked fine last time I used the emulator maybe a couple of weeks ago.

 

 

I am on Windows 7 64-bit, using Urwigo. When I first tried today I got the same issue coming to the emulator through Urwigo, and through Groundspeak Wherigo Builder. I tried the fix in post 20 here, and oddly enough, I still get the issue in Urwigo, but if I access through Groundspeak Wherigo Builder, I'm fine. The downside is I need to build a gwc file in Urwigo and naviagte to it in Groundspeak Web Builder, whereas before I could just hit 'Run' in Urwigo.

 

Any idea how to fix this?

GIcon is something from Google Maps v2. As of 19 November 2013, v2 is no longer available[\url]. And GIcon is deprecated in v3 of Google Maps.

 

If anyone is using v2 in Groundspeak's Builder, it will no longer work. Urwigo needs to update to v3 as well.

Ah thanks, that'll explain it. Anything I can do, or is that something the Urwigo developers need to do at their end?

I tried this and it works for me. But be sure, to use the right path. I found my Urwigo at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\2N5HCVYL.X5Q\C9AMAZKX.E0R\urwi..tion_f37633858e53e440_0001.000f_849cc09ef1ea0d33, but could be a little bit different for you (inside folder 2.0).

Now that this is known, I'd expect yourself to come out with an Urwigo update fairly soon.
