Is the creating a new route feature down?

On the "Create / Edit a Route" page, the ability to "Edit" (I believe that previously there was a button to "Modify") is gone.

 

Moun10bike, is that intentional?

 

If so, then the title of that page is just plain wrong as one can do neither create nor edit from this page at this time.

 

Losing the ability to edit a route is unfortunate. In fact, I had hoped that at some point it would be "fixed" to where it might save for editing all the route modifications that one makes in a session, rather than having the edit function offer only the endpoints and the auto-calculated route.

There was some loss/change of functionality in the move from Google API v2 to v3. We essentially have a band-aid on CAaR (Caches Along a Route) for now until the engineering team can restore full functionality.

Route Querries: Aren't they held out to incentivize us to persue Premium Membership??

Oh man.

 

Sorry for the wait on this fix. CAR is one of my favorite features of Premium Membership, so I completely understand the frustration. I am hoping that it gets resolved soon too. We will be working to push this along so everybody can get back to road tripping again. Thanks for your continued patience and lovely hamster humor.
