Guest tecmage
Hey folks, It's been pretty quiet here lately. Tracy and I found ourselves in KC this weekend, after our other plans fell through. We left a Hitchiker at the Spiritual Journey Cache. The Moon Man doesn't have a Travel Bug (yet), so we wanted to alert folks in the area to his presence. If you're headed out to geocache, and get the chance, please move him along. Richard and Tracy Quote Link to comment
Guest scooterj
What a coincidence! I also placed a traveler into a Kansas City area cache today. Watch for "Monkey See, Monkey Do" to appear as a new cache (it is currently awaiting approval) and help "Little Lost Army Guy" find his way to France. Quote Link to comment
Guest scooterj
Hey, I just noticed on Buxley's site ( http://www.brillig.com/geocaching/kansas_city.shtml ) that the Kansas City area is getting really close to 100 caches. It currently lists 93 but hasn't updated yet to include the weekend's additions that bump it up to at least 95, and I'm going out shortly to hide a couple of more. I wonder who will get the honor of planting Number 100? Quote Link to comment

Guest Todd Svec
That of course depends on your definition of Kansas City! From my zip code, I get 129 caches, all but the last few-10 or so are withing 30 miles. Todd Quote Link to comment
Guest scooterj
True... from my zip code I get 133. It also depends on whether you include bonus caches and each stage of multicaches. I'm basing it simply on what shows up in the box on the link I posted earlier. Quote Link to comment
