Forkeye
Is there some way to turn off the cursor popup balloons in Basecamp that popup every time the cursor touches a contour line, creek, lake, etc. Edited November 16, 2013 by Forkeye Quote Link to comment

And while you are at it..lol...I would like to see a center screen cross hairs like mapsource had and make that so it is a user option as well. +Mineral2
I don't mind the balloons that the OP talks about. I often use them to find out what creek or lake I'm looking at when the label isn't directly on the map. The part that needs to be fixed is when you click on a POI or waypoint by accident and try to drag the map around. Instead, it thinks you might be trying to move that point. Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
It's one in the same. The "hand" tool drags the map and moves waypoints. Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
It's the most recent version. I am on a mac. I don't see why it should be different, though. They used to be separate functions, and then it changed, I think with the 4.0 upgrade. Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
Ok, I figured it out. There's a setting under Preferences > Controls to "Use option while dragging to move data." It was unchecked. Once checked, it behaves as it used to, not dragging waypoints when I drag the map. Quote Link to comment
