Changing a waymark's category

I created a group with the intention of making a category in which I could place a group of similar waymarks. I successfully made the category but then could not figure out how to apply the waymarks. I went ahead and took my best guess and logged them under multifarious/best kept secrets but once live, is there a way to change the category and how do I use mine?

Your category will not allow waymarks to be accepted until it is accepted in peer review. As your category is a very region specific category it will be difficult to get through peer review. The location that would be able to be submitted to that category will most likely fit into an existing category.
