Whoever is sending it to me - may I ask you not to send it just yet. I would like to have it as a Christmas gift. For us, December 24th is the big day, or, actually big evening. It does not take longer than 10, maybe in this busy season, int worst case 12 days to get a letter sent by priority from any of the countries participating. Let me be excited, worried, anticipating, then forget about the hole thing, and then be genuine surprised and happy when I receive it. Also, you will need to put some more care, attention to it too. It is so easy to grab card and a coin now and get it out of the way, off the to-do list as soon as possible! But can you pick me a really nice coin and a really nice card with care? Can you remember to mail it when it is truly time to mail it? When I get it, I may even be able to resist the temptation of opening it before Christmas. Can you?

 

Sorry, if I sound weird. Especially as a newbee, I should not try to be different. I am sending out my card soon, if that is the normal expectation. At the moment I am in the process of getting the right coin. It may take a few days. Getting the right card is not easy either, we do not have an abundance of cards here. :-) No card shops. BUt i will find something. :-)

As a matter of fact, people don't have to send their cards right away, it's stil early. But, if it is an overseas mission, it may take a little while. People receiving their mission early can wait until Christmas day to open it :D
