+MaxB on the River
I am putting together a group of cachers to tour around Ireland in March 2014. If anyone is interested in joining we still have room for 8 more. We will be gone for 8 days and start in Dublin over St. Patrick's Day. I'd like to create a couple of events in Dublin and Kilarney while there. Does anyone have any suggestions of locations? Email me or visit me on facebook Maxine Brown MaxB on the River. +St.Matthew
The hop on hop off tour bus in Dublin stops at most of Dublin's most famous caches. Kilarney and the Ring of Kerry are interesting, but I found the Dingle Peninsula better. Quote Link to comment
+MaxB on the River
Thanks St. Matthew for the suggestions. I have been viewing the Dublin hop on hop off bus and surrounding caches. We decided on Ring of Kerry based on recommendations of travel organizer, since most of us had never been there to visit. We do have on our itinerary to do Europe's First cache on the cliff walk from Bray to Greystone Cliff, then visit Hook Head Lighthouse, Cobb, Cork, Blarney Stone, Killarney, and Cliffs of Moher. +St.Matthew
Based on a 10 day tour last year, those were much of the same caches on my itinerary. I think you and crew will have a blast. If you could fit in Dingle Peninsula, The Burren, or Galway, those were nice also. If you have questions, feel free to contact me. Quote Link to comment
