+robnzh
When I log in using wap.geocaching.com I get the following error- I have tested it on a web browser to see if it was just a problem on my phone, but it isn't: Could not load file or assembly 'Groundspeak.Utilities, Version=1.0.0.6, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Quote Link to comment
+ChileHead
I get that too. However, it seems you do get logged in. After getting the error, enter in wap.geocaching.com again and all the functions seem working. Quote Link to comment

I really hope that this doesn't mean that it is completely buried. Quote Link to comment

Back many years ago when the wap site was made, there were no native apps. I used to use the wap site on my Treo 600 and Treo 650 because the regular site took too long. But with native apps and faster connections, the wap site probably gets very little use. Quote Link to comment
+KRON family
Wap site (wap.geocaching.com) is not working. What is worse - it´s not only about "I can´t find a geocache" or "This program is not working"; it´s also about "My limit was exhausted" because it is redirecting to www . Quote Link to comment

+KRON family
It is still not working, where is the problem? Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
I have followed up with engineering and confirmed that the WAP site has been officially retired. Because it is used by so few unique accounts, we can no longer warrant expending resources to adequately maintain it, and this has led to it being the source of a number of security loopholes in recent years. +KRON family
Hmm... Will be any replacement for my Nokia2690? For example classic mobile version? Quote Link to comment
+Lil Devil
Hmm... Will be any replacement for my Nokia2690? I suggest an Android phone. Perhaps one from Samsung. Quote Link to comment
+KRON family
Maybe later, my Nokia is great-working phone at this moment (and I have not money...). Quote Link to comment
