+AtwellFamily
I am already thinking about coins for next year and here is one that I am working on. I wanted to let people have a say in the version so the coloring contest came to mind. Rules; Color between the lines All types of enamel are ok (glow, glitter, translucent, etc.) Have fun and post ideas in forum Winners will be chosen by the family and will receive 2 free geocoins of their version. +terratin
Here's my attempts. Not easy to do on a notebook without mouse The idea is to have the wings in different shades of pale transparent pink and colourless. The body will be in shiney enamal and the water in deep cut metal (maybe partly cutout or even deeper in lilipad or slightly wavey shapes) with transparent/translucent blue over it to give it a watery feeling. The metal might look best in silver (not too shiney) or aged silver. Backside all solid colours same colour, or slightly darker than the front. Second attempt: this time a dragonfly over greenery. The dark aubergine of the wings might look best in a not too shiney enamel, the lighter colours will be slightly warmer, lighter and transparent. The body would look best in some kind of metallic colour (not glitter) or shiney enamel. The green background deep metal with transparent/translucent green over it to give it a depth effect. Metal potentially aged silver or black. Backside all solid colours same colour, or slightly darker than the front. Mrs. Terratin Edited November 24, 2013 by terratin Quote Link to comment
