Easy, simple, cheap GPS Device

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

I want to get my gradparents involved in geocaching, but due to there very limited capability when using technology I want a really simple, cheap and easy to use GPS. I understand that the Geomate.jr is the best out there, and it would of course be ideal, except im unable to find and buy update cable in the uk.

Does anyone have an alternative reccomendation for an equally straight forward gps device OR a place where I can buy a geomate.jr update cable that ships to the uk??

Thanks for your help! :)

Get a Garmin unit with mapping capability and a micro-SD card slot. Then get them Garmin City Navigator Maps on a micro-SD card. They can slip the card in and be ready to go ( units come with a base map that is about worthless but still better than no map ) Most all newer units are paperless. If money is a big concern go with the Oregon 450, if not I like the 62S best of all.
