removing closed spots

Waymarking has different aspects. One of them, the most obvious one at first, is to visit places others have posted. But there is also the aspect of documenting your environment; not only the present, but also the past.

There's a fairly large group within the Waymarking community that does not remove abandoned/closed/destroyed/... Waymarking locations, but prefer to mark this in the title.

This behavior is generally accepted in the community and Tante.Hossi knows exactly what he is doing. So there is nothing wrong with this waymark in my opinion.

How can a closed spot be removed? I tried a few ways and can not figure out.

Once the spot will move completely out and new one will be on its place .. then I would archive such waymark. (If I was an owner.)

Now it looks fine to me.

EDIT ... now I spotted one category that is intentionally documenting spots before they'll get lost in near future - Newspaper Headquarters.
