+FalseFruit
I know that it is possible to use some of HTMl for writing on cache pages, but how about logs? I see some cachers type in green font, but I am unable despite repeated attempts. Can someone explain how this works on cache logs and the difference from cache pages? Quote Link to comment
+msrubble
Logs use BBCode, like the forums. There are not as many smilies for the logs, though. Quote Link to comment
+dprovan
Yeah, bbcode is the answer. If you search the web for "bbcode" and "geocaching", there are a few good pages telling you how to use it and what you can do with it. It turns out that you can use HTML in logs, too, but it's too tricky to worry about. I speak HTML fluently, so I tried to use HTML in my logs for a while, but once I discovered bbcode worked much better, I switched and never looked back. Quote Link to comment
+Graculus
I've put a page together in my resource site of BB code you can use in logs. If you use Firefox as your browser there is a nice script that gives you an 'expanded' log entry box where you can enter things much more easily.
